    DUTIES

    Responsibilities

    • Provide support to the Human Resources Manager
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
    • Maintain HRIS systems to ensure accurate employee records and reporting.
    • Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures to promote best practices.
    • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
    • Provide guidance on employee relations issues and support conflict resolution efforts.
    • Assist with company Health & Safety program.
    • Payroll processing.

    Requirements

    • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations in Canada.
    • Previous labour relations experience is preferred.
    • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll systems .
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.

    The Journeyperson Technician will be responsible for diagnoses and repairs in all areas of on-highway vehicles.

    We are seeking Technicians to work on a 4-10hr shift schedule; 3-day weekends are always nice!

    • Must have a ‘Fix It Right First Time’ mentality
    • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
    • Communicate with service advisor if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the agreed upon timeframe
    • Keep shop area neat, clean and safe and reports machinery defects or malfunctions

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician
    • CVI License
    • Previous Daimler experience is preferred; Daimler certification is an asset
    • Cummins/Detroit experience in asset
