DUTIES
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Human Resources Manager
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Maintain HRIS systems to ensure accurate employee records and reporting.
- Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures to promote best practices.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues and support conflict resolution efforts.
- Assist with company Health & Safety program.
- Payroll processing.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations in Canada.
- Previous labour relations experience is preferred.
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll systems .
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.

The Journeyperson Technician will be responsible for diagnoses and repairs in all areas of on-highway vehicles.
We are seeking Technicians to work on a 4-10hr shift schedule; 3-day weekends are always nice!

- Working from repair manuals, diagnostic equipment and online resources
- Complete detailed, clear and concise work orders
EXPECTATIONS
- Must have a ‘Fix It Right First Time’ mentality
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Communicate with service advisor if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the agreed upon timeframe
- Keep shop area neat, clean and safe and reports machinery defects or malfunctions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician
- CVI License
- Previous Daimler experience is preferred; Daimler certification is an asset
- Cummins/Detroit experience in asset
